Introduction
This project was an introduction to the Revit program. I've used this program before in the Gateway program at the middle school in a project in which we built our "dream bedroom". In this project, we will create a 12 ft by 16 ft shed in order to refresh our skills using the Revit program. Our constraints include an 8 ft wall height with a gable roof, three walls that include siding and one made of brick, a concrete floor, and finally, a single panel door as well as at least two windows. We also will be including a drawing sheet that will showcase all of the views of the design including a 3D view, elevation views, a floor plan, and a section view.

Reflection
This project was very easy but I enjoyed working with Revit again. I’m looking forward to using Revit more, especially the decoration and furniture aspects. I remember using a website in Gateway where we could download all kinds of furniture, windows and doors. The things that I learned in Gateway are starting to come back to me, but we wet more in depth with this project for as simple as it was. I learned more about changing the interior components of the walls and annotating the views. I didn’t even know that you could do section views of walls on Revit, but it’s similar to Inventor. Also, on the section view, I learned how to add insulation and change the size of the text used to label parts of the section, which I didn’t ever have to do before. I’m looking forward to building a house and experimenting with all of the other elements of the program such as different types of roofs with different slants, different wall components and types, and different house designs with site planning and furniture. I got a late start to the project, but somehow I finished before others, so I’m pretty proud of myself, though it was easy.
